Gross motor development summary

In the first video of this lecture I explain briefly the gross motor skills that I will be teaching you about in this course.

In the second video of this lecture I share a video of my best friend's son who has dyslexia. This video shows the gross motor challenges that he experiences and I share some great gross motor activity ideas that you can do with children in your class.

In this second video you can see some signs of developmental challenges, and what to look out for during your morning circle routine exercises.

I have uploaded a few popsicle stick brain break activities that you can use in your classroom.

Simple trace and cut out each activity, and stick it to popsicle sticks.

When a child finishes their class work early, or if you have a spare moment in the curriculum, use one of these activity breaks to improve children's health, fitness, and development.
